Following the close of nominations on Friday April 23, 2021 at 12:00 PM (noon) EDT, listed are the members that have expressed their willingness to serve as Officers on the CP Group Executive.
There are thirteen (13) vacancies for Officers on the CP Group Executive. Successful candidates will take Office on Wednesday, June 30 2021, all for three (3) year terms.

Three (3) people have been acclaimed to Executive positions. Congratulations to Ray J. Paquette, Vania Tsang and Elaine Ewers.
* We did not receive a nomination for neither the position of Secretary nor for Prairies/NWT Regional Representative. In accordance with CP Group By-Law 7.2.2, the new CP Group Executive may appoint qualified members after they take office on Wednesday, June 30 2021.
Elections:
- Elections will be held for the President, Treasurer, BC/Yukon Regional Representative, National Capital Regional Representative, Quebec Regional Representative, Atlantic Regional Representative and three (3) Member-at-large.
- Voting is by electronic means only.
- A ballot key for electronic voting will be sent out to members eligible to vote. Voter’s Kits (as required) will be distributed by Monday, May 31, 2021 with a deadline for return of ballots as Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 5:00 PM EDT.
Voter Eligibility:
All CP Group Regular and Retired members in good standing are eligible to vote for President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Member-at-large and:
- for the BC/Yukon Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the BC/Yukon Region and Retired members living in the BC/Yukon Region.
- for the National Capital Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the National Capital Region and Retired members living in the National Capital Region.
- for the Quebec Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the Ontario Region and Retired members living in the Ontario Region.
- for the Atlantic Regional Representative, eligible voters include Regular members working in the Atlantic Region and Retired members living in the Atlantic Region.
Resumes Submitted by Candidates:
All candidates were invited to submit resumes, of 300 words or less, stating their experience/objectives. The resumes submitted have been reproduced without corrections. The translated versions were produced by PIPSC translators.
Deadline for on-line voting: 5:00 pm (Ottawa time) on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
