Dear Colleagues, As we near the end of 2020, I like to share with you my thoughts regarding the accomplishments of the past year for our Group.

The next automatic cash-out date of excess hours will be, in most cases, on March 31, 2022, or on the date stipulated in your collective agreement for that year.

Hello Members across Canada and Washington DC, USA....the Group is now recruiting members to start new subgroups (or other union terminology called "Locals") in your work region.

Steward is the term used in labour relations to define a member who represents other members in a designated work area. The steward is an official representative of the Institute in the workplace and represents all members within a specific area of jurisdiction.

We are pleased to announce that the AV group has ratified the collective agreement. Just as we have completed our ratification process, the Treasury Board is concurrently engaging in its ratification process. This involves approval from Cabinet.
