Nominate yourself or someone else for a National Research Council Research Officer or Research Council Officer (NRC-RO/RCO) award by December 31 of each calendar year and the recipients will be announced in the first quarter of each new year.

PIPSC and the NRC signed your collective agreement. This followed the RO/RCO Group’s ratification vote, as well as final checks and verifications.
This was the final step of the ratification process, which means the implementation of your new collective agreement can now begin.

The National Research Council – Research Officers/Research Council Offices (NRC-RO/RCO) election committee has verified the results for the 2024 elections. 288 ballots were cast in the election.

The Pay Equity Committee at NRC has been working to develop a proactive pay equity plan. The committee is composed of bargaining agent representatives, including a PIPSC member and staff, non-represented employees and employer representatives.
