AFS (Audit, Financial and Scientific - CRA) Group

The AFS Group Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Ottawa (virtual and in-person). The AFS Group By-Laws provide for seventy-two (72) delegates including the eleven (11) members of the AFS Group Executive. The remaining sixty-one (61) official delegates are allocated on the basis of population by region and chosen by the Regional Representatives.

The Elections Committee has verified the results for election to the position of President of the AFS Group Executive. The following candidate was successful (name underlined) and will take office commencing July 1, 2021: President:

 

There is one (1) vacancy on the AFS Group executive. The successful candidate will take Office on July 1, 2021. Following the close of nominations on April 16, 2021 the following members expressed their willingness to serve as President on the AFS Group Executive.  

Submit your nomination to become the AFS Group president by April 16, 2021 at 12:00 PM ET.

On Saturday, May 25, 2019, the AFS Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement with CRA that provides a fair wage increase for all of our AFS members; commits the parties to continuing meaningful consultations on classification matters; and provides for an extension of the Quebec Region flexible work initiative.
