On May 25, 2019, more than 80 PIPSC members attending the Prairie/NWT Regional Council marched in the “Solidarity Forever Parade” in Winnipeg. The parade was part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 1919 Winnipeg General Strike.

The Prairie/NWT Regional Training Committee is very pleased to announce the 2019 Regional Labour School, consisting of 3 full days of instruction. Our training event will take place in Edmonton, from May 2 to 4 at the Matrix Hotel. Stewards are asked to select either Module 1 or Module 2, which will run concurrently.

We are pleased to advise that a Basic Steward Training session is being offered on March 28-30, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta. The training will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday March 28, 2019 and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
