MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ON SUPPORTING EMPLOYEE WELLNESS This Memorandum of Agreement is to give effect to the agreement reached between the Employer and the Bargaining Agent (hereinafter referred to as “the parties”) regarding issues of employee wellness.

The RCMP CM Negotiation Team has successfully concluded negotiations in mediation with the Treasury Board to secure a Memorandum of Agreement establishing the terms for transition of RCMP civilian members into the PIPSC collective agreements.

Treasury Board and 15 public service unions, including PIPSC, finalized this join agreement that will compensate 146,000 current and former employees who were paid by Phoenix.

President Debi Daviau signed the agreement with the Treasury Board that provides compensation to all PIPSC members paid by Phoenix.

Today, the Government reached another milestone in its ongoing efforts to eventually replace the Phoenix pay system. This is another encouraging step on the long road to a new, reliable pay system.

It was during her studies at the University of Saskatoon that Lina fell in love with the province and the people and decided to stay. Around the same time, she also had her first experience at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency where she really got to like the idea of working on the ‘national herd level’, protecting all of the livestock in the country.

We are appalled by the Ontario Government proposed legislation that would cap public sector wages increase a 1% annually for the next three years.

Earlier this year, Institute members met in Ottawa with Steve Mackinnon, Parliamentary Secretary to Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) Minister Carla Qualtrough as part of the February 5, 2019 PIPSC Lobby Day. He committed the department to consultation with the Institute and other affected bargaining agents on this critical issue.
