On June 14, 2017 the House of Commons Procedural Clerks, Analysis and Reference Group vote unanimously to ratified a tentative agreement with the Employer. Details of the signing of the new collective agreement will follow.

Your bargaining team met in a smaller group with management on June 5 and 6 in hopes of agreeing on a tentative settlement. We continued talks on Monday June 12 and the parties are continuing efforts to conclude bargaining.

We received the note below from the Employer regarding Phoenix and a technical issue that may arise with some members' pay. While the Employer assures us that all members will be notified of this concern and that any errors will be corrected in the next pay (June 28, 2017), we want to ensure all SP Group members are aware of the issue and check their pay stub for any potential errors.

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Bargaining Team was in meetings with the company from April 24-28, 2017. The parties continued discussions on numerous items and agreed on multiple non-monetary items. Negotiations between the parties is scheduled to continue from May 08 to 12, 2017.

The PIPSC NAV CANADA Group Bargaining Team was in meetings with the company from May 8-11, 2017. On Friday May 12, 2017 our team worked in closed meetings on our bargaining priorities. The parties continued discussions on numerous items and positive progress was made.

The majority of the CS members who voted have ratified the Tentative Agreement. We will be moving forward to sign the agreement as soon as can be arranged. The Employer then has 120 days from the signature date to implement retroactive pay.
