Debi Daviau, President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) and Treasury Board President Scott Brison, have announced today that they will collaborate using evidence to secure a new, transparent, accurate and integrated, end-to-end HR to pay system.

As the joint communiqué released today between Treasury Board President Scott Brison and myself shows, there is new progress to report on our efforts to replace the dysfunctional Phoenix pay system.

Protecting the pensions of our members is a top priority at PIPSC. That’s why over the last year we have been fighting so hard to ensure our members at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) remain in the Public Service Pension Plan.

The RO/RCO Group Executive will be meeting in Ottawa on Thursday, June 14. We will be hosting a lunch for RO/RCO members at noon in the Kelvin Room in M-36, 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa.

You are invited to a first discussion on the process for assigning staff to extra shifts, both regular part-time & occasional part-time.

Group President Peter Gabriel will be present and discuss current issues and collective bargaining process as our current agreement ends June 21, 2018.

PIPSC PEI Branch AGM 2018

This year your CS AGM is being held on Saturday June 9th, 2018.

The Regina Branch of PIPSC will once again be participating in the Annual Pride Parade. This year’s event is on Saturday June 16th 2018.  See the attached link for the parade route which takes place in downtown Regina and runs from 12:00pm for about one hour.

On Thursday, May 24, 2018, you received an email from the PIPSC eMail Migration Team with a unique 6-digit temporary password. Regrettably, Google requires a minimum 8-character password. As such, we have now added 99 at the end of each password previously sent out.

Please note that the proposed AGM will be delayed this year due to various reasons - most of all is that posting season is upon us, the Executive, as well as yourselves‎.
