2019 Steward of the Year
Recognition Award

The Ontario Region Council recognizes the role of the Steward in the organization as an important liaison between members, their Union and the employer.

Purpose: To recognize the contributions of Ontario Region PIPSC Stewards active in their workplace, who have gone “above and beyond” their duties to assist members and have made an extraordinary contribution to the Institute.

2019 Ontario Regional Steward Council Meeting
Hyatt Regency Toronto
Friday September 20 to Saturday September 21, 2019

The Ontario Region Steward Council will be held on Friday September 20 and Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Toronto. The Council will be one and one half [1 ½] days, starting on Friday at 1:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Council will continue on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at between 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. No scheduled events will take place on Saturday evening.

2019 Ontario Region Steward Labour School

Qualified Stewards are invited to register for the Ontario Region’s Labour School.  This will consist of 3 days of specialized courses oriented towards experienced Stewards.  It will take place at The Grand Hotel and Suites, 225 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario.
