Groups

Members belong to Groups, which include all the members of the same bargaining unit. Each Group operates under its own Constitution which must be consistent with Institute By-Laws. Members of the Group elect their own Executive.

As a member,your voice counts and you're encouraged to participate in the activities of your Group.

The Pay Equity plan has unfolded at the National Gallery with the formation of a committee that included among other members 2 PIPSC representatives. The PEC’s initial phase involved the definition of job classes within the National Gallery.

The Pay Equity Committee (PEC) has not met with the employer. We are disappointed by the pay equity progress with the Canadian Museum of History. After countless emails and requests to commence the process, the employer has repeatedly stated they are not ready to meet.
