NCR Region - Policy Day - February 24, 2018, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30pm, PIPSC HQ Salon A/B

The aim of this training is to provide information about the processes that go into writing and establishing internal PIPSC policies. If you are interested in learning about the art of policy writing and how By-Laws are made, this is the place for you!  You will meet some volunteers who work on behalf of all of us at both the National and Regional By-Laws and Policy Committees (BLPC).

The agenda will include talks by fellow PIPSC members, some problems and exercises.

The parties met in Beausejour, MB on January 9, 10 and 11, 2018. Additional dates are scheduled for January 30, 31 and February 1, 2018 and also February 6, 7 and 8, 2018, once again in Beausejour. Federal Mediators continue to facilitate the Interest Based Negotiation process and discussions continue to be productive. Significant progress was made on a number of issues resulting in multiple proposed changes to Collective Agreement articles being tentatively agreed to.
