We are pleased to advise that a Basic Steward Training session is being offered on October 25-27, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The training will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday October 25, 2018 and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The course will be held at the Fairmont Hotel Winnipeg. Accommodation will be provided also at the Fairmont Hotel.

Stewards play a critical role in our organization. These volunteers act as liaisons between members, the employer, and our union. To show our appreciation to stewards in this region, we invite our members to nominate a steward that they feel has devoted time, energy and commitment to making our workplaces better.

The Prairie/NWT Regional Training Committee is very pleased to announce the 2018 Regional Labour School, consisting of 3 full days of instruction. Our training event will take place in Edmonton, from May 10 to 12 at the Matrix Hotel. Stewards are asked to select either Module 1 or Module 2, which will run concurrently.
