Are you a young professional looking for an opportunity to make a difference in your workplace? Look no further! The BC/Yukon Regional Executive is looking for passionate individuals like you to join the Young Professionals Committee (YPC).
As a member of the committee, you will have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals, regionally and nationally, and work together to drive positive change in the public service.
The YPC is open to all BC/Yukon members in good standing, but preference will be given to members under 40 years of age. The committee will consist of up to ten young professionals, from different regions across BC/Yukon, and the Young Professionals Liaison on the Regional Executive. The term for the committee is three years.
The objectives of the Young Professionals Committee are to:
- Identify barriers for young professionals in the Public Service and PIPSC
- Raise issues specific to young professionals
- Foster relationships with like minded groups
- Outreach to young professionals in the workplace
