Please vote me as your Ontario Director.
In 2024 the Federal Government refuses to acknowledge the reality of a virtual workplace, one which we have adapted to, and our new members have fluency within. They refuse to embrace the cost efficiencies work at home rather than housing staff in buildings which can not accommodate members. I pledge to fight for a return to virtual work environment.
I want to advocate the Government maintains and expands good, professional and well-paying jobs that include strong benefits and a pension for future generations. With a potential National political leadership change, we need to fight to ensure our pension is protected and we receive world class health care. I have a strong background in advocacy for these rights.
We came through a period of excessive high interest rates and cost of living. Should not a government employee be able to afford basic necessities such as groceries. The Government can’t balance their budget on the backs of a pay scale that doesn’t recognize inflationary pressure. I will lobby on your behalf with the Groups for a better wage.
We need more ERO’s in the workplace and PIPSC dollars to support our Group’s in bargaining and negotiations. We need a balanced budget one which prioritizes funds providing a direct benefit to members. I can be the voice that leads this charge for dollars where needed.
