Dear NUREG Sisters and Brothers,
Your NUREG Executive and Stewards want to reach out to those still affected by the devastating tornados that struck Ottawa and Gatineau on Friday by offering whatever support we can. While our NUREG Group is not set up to provide an organized aid effort in disasters such as this, we all have willing hearts to try to lighten the heavy burden that this disaster has placed on our friends and co-workers.
A special thank you goes out to our Vice-President, Jennie Esnard and to our Treasurer, William Stewart for monitoring the situation via Facebook and communicating with as many members as possible on Sunday regarding office closure on Monday.
If you know of any of our members who may still be in need of any kind of assistance in these troubling times, please let us know and we will do everything we can to help out.
