We are aware that many of you have recently received a response from the employer dismissing the grievances that were filed relating to your pension transfer from the Ontario Public Service. We had anticipated that the employer would conclude that the matter could not be grieved and, for that reason, we have also been pursuing class action proceedings before the Ontario Superior Court on this same issue. The parties have agreed to enter into mediation in those proceedings. In the event that the matter cannot be resolved, we will proceed with the class action before the Court such that there is no reason to refer these grievances to adjudication
