ARC - Notice of Elections Atlantic Regional Executive

NOTICE OF ELECTIONS

ATLANTIC REGION

Elections for positions on the Atlantic Regional Executive of PIPSC are held during the Atlantic Regional Council (ARC).  At the 76^th ARC, being held at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland on May 24^th – 25^th, 2019, the following positions are open for election:

• Regional Executive:  Five (5) Members-at-Large. Positions are for a term of two (2) years.

Nominations may be made in advance by contacting one of the committee members listed

below, or on the floor of the ARC.  To enable a fully informed election process the candidates will address the delegates on Friday afternoon.  Those candidates not in attendance at the ARC may either:

a)  have a delegate in attendance deliver an address on their behalf or

b)  prepare a video address to be played. 

The candidate`s address shall not exceed three (3) minutes.

Please note that videos must be received by the Atlantic Regional Office no later than Monday, May 6^th, 2019.
