Joining the BC Federation of Labour and the Yukon Federation of Labour

WHEREAS the BC/Yukon Region has members that fall under provincial and territorial labour legislation and jurisdiction; and

WHEREAS we are Better Together when we work together internally within PIPSC and with other external labour organizations in the “House of Labour;” and

WHEREAS PIPSC’s ability to represent regional labour issues within provincial and territorial jurisdictions will be greatly increased if PIPSC has a seat, and is more involved in the provincial and territorial labour movements;

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the BC/Yukon Region seek membership for our BC First Nations Health Authority members in the British Columbia Federation of Labour and for our Yukon Hospital Corporation members in the Yukon Federation of Labour.
