CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The National Capital Regional Executive Awards Committee is requesting nominations for the NCR 2026 Regional Council Awards. All nominations are due March 22, 2026 by 5:00 pm and can be sent to Stacy McLaren at smclaren@pipsc.ca .
AWARDS
The Citation Certificate recognizes a PIPSC member or employee for outstanding service to Constituent Bodies, Committees, Consultation Teams or to the Institute as a whole. This certificate may recognize service over a period of time or service for a particular activity.
The Unsung Hero Award recognizes individual effort on behalf of PIPSC in ongoing or special work, whether publicly or behind the scenes, which is of direct benefit to PIPSC members or organization at the local levels, or for individual members.
The NCR Executive of the Year award recognizes outstanding contributions of a PIPSC member active on an executive or in committee work of a PIPSC constituent body in the NCR.
The NCR Retired Service Award recognizes individual effort by retired members on behalf of the Institute in ongoing or special work, whether publicly or behind the scenes, which is of direct benefit to the Institute NCR members.
NOMINATION PROCESS
You will receive an acknowledgment that your nomination has been received. A member of the Awards Committee may contact the nominator to clarify details pertaining to the nomination. The Committee will choose the Steward of the Year and will recognize them at the 2026 Regional Council.
