Dear fellow members,

We have a deal!!!!

Your NUREG Bargaining Team is happy to announce that on September 7, 2017 we accepted a tentative deal with the CNSC. The Team and our PIPSC negotiator Denise Doherty-Delorme have worked diligently through countless number of hours in one of the most difficult bargaining rounds ever to bring you this deal. It is a truly a historic event. This is the first time that we have reached an agreement with the CNSC without going through arbitration. We thank PIPSC President Debi Daviau for her non-wavering help throughout this whole process. We also thank the CNSC bargaining team and Mr Binder for helping to make this happen.

We would like to present the details of the tentative deal at a lunch and learn on September 18, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 330 Kent St from 12 to 130pm. In addition, we will present the tentative deal to the sites by teleconference from 2 to 3pm on the same day. A video will be available afterwards for members who can't make it to the lunch and learn or the teleconference.

The deal will have to be ratified electronically. Information will be sent out in the next few weeks on voting instructions.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of your bargaining team members.

In solidarity,

Your bargaining team-
