Thank you to everyone who completed our NUREG Bargaining Survey. Our members' level of participation and written comments are encouraging. We received a 44% participation rate. We hear you and your concerns. Your continued support and engagement is essential in identifying and achieving priorities for this round of bargaining. Based upon the results of the dispute resolution question in the membership survey, NUREG has selected the arbitration route as our dispute resolution process.

Your Bargaining Team met May 17 to 19 and June 21 and 22 to prepare our non-monetary proposals using the feedback we received from the survey results. With the support of PIPSC Research staff, we have additional work to complete in order to finalize our pay proposals in the coming months.

Our team is committed to seeking a timely agreement with the employer. The first negotiation date was held on September 27 in which NUREG and the CNSC exchanged initial proposals. The proposals have been published for the information of members on the PIPSC site (add link to published documents). The next negotiation dates are scheduled for October 25 & 26. We have requested additional dates from November into the new year in an effort to reach a new collective agreement as soon as possible.

We look forward to providing you with updates in the coming months.
