Our friend and colleague James Allan has passed away. We want to offer our deepest condolences to James’ family, friends, colleagues and fellow union members.
James will be missed.
He was a CS Group member and worked at the Department of National Defence. He was an active part of our union, attending many group meetings, regional meetings and AGMs over the years.
James was also a steward for over 10 years. He supported his colleagues with any challenges they may have had in the workplace, while also investing in other stewards. James attended many steward trainings and steward council meetings, investing in our union's overall capacity to support members in the workplace. These significant contributions will not be forgotten.
James was known to many as one of the kindest people they worked with. Our union is better for James’ contributions.
Again, we extend our heartfelt condolences to James’ family and to the many friends who were privileged to know him.
