The Board of Directors has reviewed the details surrounding the recent CP Group election and have rendered a decision to re-run only the voting portion of the CP Group national election process on a recommendation from PIPSC General Counsel.
The executive committee who were in office prior to the June 1, 2024 CP Group AGM will remain in office until the election process is complete. All business of the Group will be steered by this executive committee until such time as a new executive committee is announced by the National Elections Committee. As such, the National Elections Committee will determine a date when the election voting process will commence and will run the voting process to its completion four weeks later.
