On Saturday, September 23, 2017, the AFS Negotiation Team reached a tentative agreement with CRA that provides a fair wage increase for all of our AFS members and commits the parties to meaningful consultations on classification matters.
Full details of the tentative agreement will be provided in the ratification package and at information sessions as soon as they can be arranged.
Economic increases to all levels and steps of each occupational group are as follows:
- Effective December 22, 2014 - increase to rates of pay 1.25%
- Effective December 22, 2015 - increase to rates of pay 1.25%
- Effective December 22, 2016 - increase to rates of pay 1.25%
- Effective December 22, 2016 - market adjustment of 2.5%
- Effective December 22, 2017 - increase to rates of pay 1.25%
