2023 PRAIRIE/NORTHWEST TERRITORIES STEWARD AWARD

Call for Nominations for Steward Recognition Award

Stewards play a critical role in our organization. These volunteers act as liaisons between members, the employer, and our union. To show our appreciation to stewards in this region, we invite our members to nominate a steward that they feel has devoted time, energy and commitment to making our workplaces better.

Nominations received may be supplemented with input from our Employment Relations Officers (EROs) who interact with our stewards on a daily basis.

A regional committee reviews the nominations submitted.  The stewards whose efforts qualify under the review process will receive a memento at our Regional Steward Council to acknowledge that members noticed and appreciated their efforts. From the nominations submitted, the committee will select one ‘Steward of the Year’ who will be honored at PIPSC Annual General Meeting in Montreal.

We need your help. To show our appreciation for those who take the time and effort to fill out the nomination form, we will award one gift that will be drawn from the names of those who submit a nomination form. Remember to include your contact details.
