78th QRC - Report of the Ville-Marie Branch

Report of the Ville-Marie Branch presented to the 2019 Quebec Regional Council

Our Branch had 1055 members as of December 31, 2017.

The Ville-Marie Branch held 2 activities for its members in 2018-2019:

1 - November: Happy Hour at Bistro Les Soeurs Grises

Members met in a lively atmosphere. They enjoyed some snacks and two free drinks per member. The Branch President went around the tables all evening and answered members’ questions, mainly regarding the new sick leave and short-term disability plan.

2 - 2019 AGM:  

We held our Branch AGM on May 23, 2019, at the Peroni Restaurant in the SunLife Building. As our By-laws and Constitution, as amended by the By-Laws and Policies Committee, could not be adopted last year, they will be adopted this year. The notice, including amended By-laws, was sent to all Branch members at least 6 weeks in advance (3 more than the regular 3 weeks).
