78th QRC - Eastern Quebec Branch Report

Our Branch had 270 regular members as of December 31, 2018. Our members come from the AFS, AV, VM, S&A, CS, NR, NRC-RO/RCC, RE and SP Groups and work at the CRA, DFO, CFIA, PSPC, TC, NRC, CED, SSC and CSD.

On December 31, the Executive was composed of: Mélanie Murray – Vice-President (SSC), Jean-Pierre Gauthier – Treasurer (CRA), Guylaine Roy – Secretary (CED), Noémie Gendreau (CRA), Denis Chabot (DFO), France Boily (CFIA), Martin Castonguay (DFO), Serge Proulx (DFO), Peter Galbraith (DFO), and Cédric Juillet (DFO) as a participant.

Accomplishments of the Team in 2018:

• The Executive met four times.
• In May, September and November, we represented the Eastern Quebec Branch at the Quebec Regional Council, the Stewards Council and the National AGM.
• Our Branch AGM was held on April 26, 2018.
• We had our first family picnic on September 8, 2018.
• Finally, throughout the year, we sent various messages to Branch members and attended a variety of formal and informal meetings and training sessions.
