75th ARC - Saint John Branch Report

Executive Meeting Dates

  • March 26, 2017 – Lunch and Learn potential topics        
  • May 15, 2017 – Planning for Branch AGM
  • October 16, 2017 – Introduce new executive, discuss planning for fall, AGM resolutions
  • February 27, 2018 – Planning for social, discuss ARC resolution    

General Meeting Dates

  • Branch AGM was held on June 12, 2017.  Joint meeting with AFS Sub-Group with 39 members in attendance.
  • Marion MacEachern, PIPSC New Brunswick Liaison, was our guest speaker.  Marion discussed her role in assisting the NB groups and the challenges.
  • Election of Vice-President, Treasurer and Members at Large to 2 year terms.
  • Social planned in April 2018

Membership Concerns

  • Contract signing delays, collective bargaining.
  • Problems with Phoenix continued throughout the year.
