CRPEG AGM Notice

Pursuant to the CRPEG and CRB by-laws, the annual general meetings (AGM) for both bodies will be held on the 28^th of October 2025 anno domini.

The following elections will be held on that date:

For CRPEG, the following positions:

• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Chief Steward
• Negotiations Officer
• Employer Relations Officer
• Special Assignments Officer

For CRB, the following positions:

• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Member-at-Large × 4

A brief description of the executive duties can be found in By-Law 6: Group Executive Constitution and By-Laws – Chalk River Professional Employees Group (CRPEG)

To submit a nomination for any of the above positions, please use the CRPEG Nomination Form or CRB Nomination Form and submit it to the elections committee chair prior to the meeting date. Nominations may also be made verbally from the floor at the time of elections.

The election committee will be:

• Noel Harrison
• Jonathan Fitzpatrick

The following amendment to the CRPEG by-laws will be put forward for approval at the AGM:

8.3 Ratification Meetings

8.3.1

All Regular and Rand members are eligible to attend the ratification meeting.

10.3

Tentative agreements resulting from collective bargaining must be presented to the membership at a Special General Ratification Meeting before being ratified by the membership.  Members shall be notified of the Ratification Meeting at least one (1) week prior to the date of the meeting.

As usual, food will be provided, please use the voting buttons to select if you are attending in person. The order will be finalized before the meeting date, so letting us know you are coming is a nice thing to do.
