Your WFCC-RT Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that on January 16, 2025, we reached a tentative agreement with The Niagara Health System.
Since October of last year, your WFCC-RT Bargaining Team has been meeting with the Hospital to negotiate the renewal of your collective agreement. We are pleased to now share details of the tentative agreement that we reached with the Hospital on January 16, 2025 to conclude this round of collective bargaining.
Highlights of this tentative agreement include:
- 15.75% wage increase over 4 years
- Improved health and welfare benefits
- Protection for bargaining unit work
- A definition of the hours and days of work
- Various premium improvements
- Vacation increases
This agreement must now be ratified by the WFCC-RT Group membership. An electronic vote will be held in order to ratify this agreement. All regular members in good standing will receive the voting instructions by email.
The voting will be open from 8:00 AM EST, Wednesday, January 29, 2024 to 12:00 PM EST, Monday February 3, 2025. You will receive voting instructions via email.
You will find all the information concerning the tentative agreement below. It is important that you take the time to review everything prior to voting and prior to asking questions to the Bargaining Team.
Please review the attached documents:
A “Yes” vote means: You are accepting all of the changes proposed in the tentative agreement. Non-monetary changes will take place at the date of signing.
A “No” vote means: You reject the tentative agreement and instruct the WFCC-RT Group Bargaining Team to pursue further negotiations, with a high likelihood of heading to arbitration.
The WFCC-RT Bargaining Team believes we accomplished the best deal possible and we unanimously recommend accepting this tentative agreement.
