Movie Night - The Gig Is Up
Vancouver Branch and SP Members in BC are invited to a special screening of the movie The Gig is Up, which PIPSC is sponsoring in partnership with Reel Causes.
This movie is about millions of people around the world who are finding work task by task online. Lured by the promise of flexible work hours, independence, and control over time and money, workers have found a very different reality. Work conditions are often dangerous, pay often changes without notice, and workers can effectively be fired through deactivation or a bad rating.

You have the option to attend in person or online. PIPSC members and one guest can
attend for free! Additional guests will need to purchase tickets at the event.
