Hello everyone,
The Annual General Meeting is an opportunity to learn about current issues and events of our union. Normally, it is also the time to elect the Executive. The officers usually include a president, a Vice-President, a Secretary, a Treasurer and two administrator positions. The Executive positions will all be up for election: President and Treasurer (two-year terms), Vice-President and Secretary (one-year terms). The two administrator positions will also be up for election, one for a two-year term and the other for a one-year term. If you are interested in serving on the Executive, submit your nomination at the AGM.
In addition, we have the great pleasure of welcoming two guests. Mr. Eric Massey, member of the SH Group Executive and of the negotiating team, and Mr. Denis Caissy, Quebec Regional Vice President of the Department of National Defence (DND) consultation team.
Your presence is highly recommended, especially since we have information to pass on to you concerning our collective agreement that expires this fall, current key issues as well as the work that is being done.
We look forward to seeing you all the AGM.
