To this day, the employer has refused to start the Pay Equity process by scheduling an initial meeting. PIPSC has been ready to meet for several months and has tried to convince the employer many times to begin the process. However, the employer refuses to schedule a meeting without first receiving a decision on their request for multiple plans, as mentioned in the previous webpost. PIPSC continues to push for a meeting to begin working on the pay equity process while waiting for a decision, but the employer refuses to start.
