The PIPSC NEB Group's AGM will be held both virtually and in-person at the CER’s Conference Centre on December 5, 2023 at 12PM MT. A pizza lunch will be served. (Gluten-free pizza and salad will also be served). The AGM will include an update from the executive, presentation of updated by-laws for approval, and a digital election for the following positions:

Vice-President (2 year term)

Member-At-Large (2 year term) x 2

Member-At-Large (1 year term) x 1


  • In order to participate, including voting in the election, you must be a registered member of the union. If you have never received an email from PIPSC, you may not have proactively applied, simply complete the membership application.
  • If you wish to check if you are a member already, you can consult the PIPSC tool to find your membership number.
  • Complete the meeting registration process sent to you via email by December 1, 2023


Advance nominations for one of the four (4) eligible executive positions will be accepted prior  to the AGM and must be received by PIPSC at no later than November 15, 2023 using the attached form. Nominations will also be taken at the AGM when a call for nominations from the floor is announced. Vice-President –  The Vice-President shall assist the President in the performance of their duties, and in the absence of the President, perform the duties of that position.

Member-At-Large - Members-at-Large shall perform such duties as may be assigned by the Executive.


Draft By-Laws for Adoption

The outgoing group executive is proposing some amendment to the existing group by-laws to ensure consistency with PIPSC standards. Most notably, the Group Executive position of Secretary-Treasurer is proposed to be split into two positions, Secretary and Treasurer. Both current and proposed versions are provided for perusal prior to the AGM. Adoption of the new by-laws will be subject to a motion a debate.
