The Halifax CS (IT) Subgroup wants to invite you and your family to cool off from heat of Summer. We are hosting a pool event at the Sackville Sports Stadium https://www.thestadium.ca/ on August 13, 2022 at 2pm-4pm. Please ensure you show up at LEAST 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled start time to ensure you are able to enjoy the maximum time possible in the pool. These times are NOT flexible. 2pm-3pm will be allocated for pool time, 3pm-4pm will be for a social gathering with food and refreshments for all.
Proper supervision of children is the responsibility of those bringing the children to the event. Anyone bringing children under the age of 8 years old are expected to swim in the pool with the children (Max 3 children per adult) and are responsible for their supervision. There are strict guidelines with regards to Child/Adult ratios that we must follow in order to be allowed to host this event. Anyone bringing children 8 years or older are expected to be either swimming in the pool, or supervising their children from the pool deck. While Life Guards will be present for the event, for the safety of all those involved, those bringing children must maintain supervision of the children at all times. Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate swim ware, towels, change of clothes, locker lock, etc.
RSVPs will be accepted until July 25, 2022; however we request that you RSVP ASAP for event planning purposes by sending an Email to hrmcssubgroup@gmail.com. Spaces are limited and will be filled by the order in which RSVPs are received. Please ensure you include the name of the CS member(s), total number of adults, and total number of children (including ages) in your RSVP.
