As mentioned in our first update, the CFIA IN, S&A and VM teams established a central bargaining team to deal with common issues across our 3 groups.
We met with the employer from December 19 – 20, 2023 for our second central bargaining session. We continued to review our non-monetary proposals, and made some progress in a number of areas, agreeing to many items.
This means we have successfully concluded our work at the central table. We will be returning to individual group tables to negotiate the remaining items.
You will receive more information following the individual group bargaining sessions. The next sessions are as follows:
- IN: March 26–27, 2024
- S&A: March 5–7, 2024
- VM: February 6–8, 2024
