The 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Québec City AFS Sub-
Group
You are cordially invited to attend your Sub-Group’s AGM.
Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at Le Grand Bourg restaurant, 8500 Henri-
Bourassa Blvd, Charlesbourg, QC G1G 5X1.
Six meal options are available:
1. Seafood linguini
2. Butterfly shrimps
3. Filet mignon brochette
4. Sixteen ounces ribs
5. Undercut
6. Chicken brochette
Discussions are planned on several topics of interest to you. The AGM is also a
great opportunity to voice your concerns.
Thirty places are available. If you would like to participate, please send an e-mail
to: gabriel.boucher@pipsc.ca with your name by December 5, 2023.
If you want to become active in your union and contribute to improving your
quality of life at work, this evening will also be an opportunity to submit your
application to join the Executive. See available positions at point 9 below.

Call for nominations
In accordance with the Québec City Sub-Group By-Laws, take notice that the following
Québec City Sub-Group Executive positions: 1 st Vice-President (2 years), 2 nd Vice-
President (2 years), Treasurer (2 years), Secretary (2 years), as well as 3 Directors will
be filled by election at the 2023 Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday,
December 6, 2023.
To expedite the evening’s proceedings, we ask that nominations be submitted in
writing (a simple e-mail) before 1 p.m. on December 6, 2023. All nominations must
be proposed by a member in good standing and seconded by another member in good
standing. All written nominations must be sent to Gabriel Boucher, Elections Committee
Chair of the Québec City AFS Sub-Group. Any member whose nomination has been
submitted in writing and who expects to be absent from the 2023 AGM of the Québec
City AFS Sub-Group must express in writing to the Elections Committee their interest in
holding the position for which they have been nominated.
