London AFS Sub-Group Elections 2026 Call for Nominations

The current mandate for your PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group Executive members will end at Thursday, May 21, 2026, PIPSC Annual General Meeting.  Therefore, our By-Laws require us to call for nominations.  The successful candidates will be elected for three-year terms commencing at the end of our Thursday, May 21, 2026, PIPSC Annual General Meeting. 

Nominations are now invited for the following position:

  • Member-at-large (three may be elected)

To be a candidate a person must be a Regular Member in good standing of the PIPSC London AFS Sub-Group and must be, or become, a steward. Voting will take place at our PIPSC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

The “Nomination Form” is attached.  Nominations must be submitted by e-mail to one of the following: Maria Hung ( mhung@pipsc.ca) or Paul Andres (p_andres@pipsc.ca)  by 4 pm, Tuesday, April 21, 2026.  Candidates should contact any of one of the aforementioned persons to confirm receipt of their nomination form prior to the deadline.

For the nomination form, candidates can either obtain the signature and contact information directly from the nominator or obtain an e-mail from the nominator with the nominator’s contact information. A copy of the e-mail from the nominator must be attached to the candidate’s nomination form upon submission.

If no nominations are received for an elected position by this deadline, then the deadline for nominations, for that position only, will be extended to the floor of our PIPSC Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Small fliers with biographies and/or candidate comments for election purposes will be allowed on PIPSC bulletin boards until the day after our PIPSC Annual General Meeting. All election posters must be approved by the Election Committee.
