I am pleased to submit my application for the position of Quebec Regional Representative for the NR Group. I have long-standing union experience, both with the Group and the Region (notably as President of the NR - SCC-Laval Subgroup, member of the NR-Montérégie Subgroup and President of the Haut-Richelieu Branch of the Quebec Region).  I have held these positions for over 5 years.

 I am confident that the expertise I have acquired over the years could be put to good use in the NR Group's first Executive Committee. I believe in engagement and teamwork, which I have demonstrated on several occasions in the past. I believe that together we can achieve great things, and that member mobilization is more important than ever at a time when workplaces are geographically dispersed.

 I am committed to developing a robust network for the Group in the Quebec Region, especially outside Montreal where the Group is already well represented. My experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the Institute mean I am a prime candidate. I want to get involved to help train the new generation of stewards who will secure our future.
