AV Ottawa Sub Group - Ice Cream and Information Event - September 12, 2019

The AV Ottawa Subgroup will host an ice-cream event at Global Affairs Canada on 12 September 2019 from 11:45 to 13:15 at 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa Ontario K1A 0G2. Please note that due to construction, the ice-cream cart will be at the back of the buildings. There will be PIPSC banners and signs directing you to the event.

NUREG Bargaining Update #6 – COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT SIGNED

NUREG is pleased to announce that the Collective Agreement was signed on August 14, 2019 by PIPSC President Debi Daviau, CNSC President Rumina Velshi, NUREG President Harold Marcotte and members of the NUREG and CNSC bargaining teams. 

The information in the timeline below sets out important dates relating to implementation of the new Collective Agreement.  CNSC has undertaken to provide additional updates to NUREG members as implementation proceeds.

Bargaining Update for PIPSC NR Members

  1. Your NR Bargaining Team hosted national telephone Town-Halls on July 10, to discuss our tentative Agreement with Treasury Board.
  2. Following the Town-Hall, eligible Members were sent a voting key, on ratifying the tentative agreement. The vote was held July 11 to August 02.
  3. NR’s have confirmed their support for ratifying the tentative agreement, and the document has been sent to Treasury Board for their ratification.

The SP Group has a tentative agreement for which the ratification process has begun. On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm the SP-NCR Subgroup will be holding a Lunch and Learn at which the tentative agreement will be presented.

Ann Therriault, Member of the SP Bargaining Team and Sushil Dixit, President SP Group will present the tentative agreement and will be available to answer your questions.

A light lunch will be provided.

To all SH members,

Your SH Bargaining Team is pleased to announce that on May 30th, 2019 we signed a tentative agreement to complete this round of collective bargaining. The Bargaining Team would like to thank all members for their support.

We believe we have reached the best negotiated deal possible in what has been a challenging round of negotiations. However, we will continue to push Treasury Board for further improvements in the next round of bargaining as there are still outstanding issues for some of our members.

PIPSC Vote on the PIPSC OSFI Group Tentative Agreement – July, 2019

Your Bargaining Team is very pleased to present the ratification package in preparation for voting on the new tentative agreement!

As you are aware, on June 26, 2019 a tentative agreement was signed with the Employer, completing this round of negotiations. We thank all the members of the NEB Group for their support in getting to a deal!
