NOTICE TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017
The parking is free.
Take note that the 27th Annual Meeting of the Québec City Branch, will stand at the date and hour as above. You don’t have to make a reservation to attend to the general meeting. However, if you want to stay for the dinner, you will have to register your presence by giving your name and member number of the Professional Institute to Alain Tremblay at email address following : trembal@hotmail.com. You will have a cocktail and a dinner with wine; you will have to choose between pork and fish. Register and give your choice of dinner to Alain Tremblay, before October 3rd 2017.
This year, we have the honor to receive, as the main speaker, the president of the Institute, Miss Debi Daviau. Miss Daviau will speak on the pay system Phenix, the bill C-27 and the project to reform the sick leaves.
Furthermore, we invited as a special guest, Mr. Frédéric Durso, employment relation officer, from the regional office of Montréal. Mr. Durso will talk about some real cases, concerning labour relations, that happened during the last year. We will have other guests who will speak briefly on other subjects.

You will find on the PIPSC website (Quebec Region/Quebec City) the temporary minutes of the 26th Annual General Meeting of the September 19th 2016. It will be submitted to you for approval at the meeting.

Call for Nominations
Pursuant to articles 4 and 7 of the Québec City Branch By-Laws, be advised that all Branch Executive positions (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and seven (7) Members-at-Large) will be filled through an election at the 2017 Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Nominations may be made either in writing, up to the date of the 2017 Québec City Branch AGM, or in person at the meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Each nomination must be made by a member in good standing and seconded by another member in good standing. Written nominations must be sent by email to Michel Audet, Election Chair, to either of the following addresses:

Members whose nominations have been submitted in writing and who expect to be absent from the 2017 Québec City Branch AGM must provide written notice to the Election Chair to express their interest in the position for which they were nominated.
