You are invited to come and meet the members of the Mauricie Branch of the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada. We will start with a social gathering at 5:00 p.m. in a room reserved for us at Le St-Antoine restaurant. The AGM will be held at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by a supper, the cost of which will be partly covered by the Mauricie Branch.

You will find attached the agenda for the meeting, the notice of election and a nomination form.

The members of your Executive will be addressing some hot topics, such as the tentative agreement at the central negotiating table, the agreement reached on Phoenix damages and the upcoming election.

Note that we will be fortunate to have Stéphanie Fréchette and Yvon Brodeur (Quebec Region) as well as some delegates from across Quebec in Trois-Rivières for the occasion.

MAURICIE BRANCH ELECTION

The terms of office for the Vice-President, Treasurer and Member-at-Large on the Mauricie Branch Executive have come to an end.

We are now accepting nominations for the following positions:

Two-year term

Vice-President

Treasurer

Member-at-Large

To stand for election, you must be a regular member of the Mauricie Branch.

The Chair of the Elections Committee is Christian Tremblay.

The deadline for submitting nominations is June 12, 2019.

The two-year terms will end on June 14, 2021.
