Meeting called to order at 1757 hrs by Gary Desbiens (President).

Happy birthday to Gary (age 60).
Ontario Steward Council: 4 Kingston Branch Executive members going (Gary, Cindy, Jess, Leasha). At the Council this year, they want whoever is attending to wear blue shirts (to be provided by Gary) to increase visibility for the return to office policy (September 9, 2024). The Employer does not have to respect previous agreements. Employees need to return to work for at least 3 days a week. Gary had a meeting about this with HR today with CSC during which this was explained to him.
Reviewed finances.
- Allocation received.
- Budget items to be reviewed.
- Financials are within budget.
Consideration of next event for PIPSC members and steward appreciation.
- Another member appreciation event or a steward appreciation event.
- Discussed possibly doing a membership appreciation event in early November.
- Looking into cost of tickets to a Kingston Frontenacs game in a private suite premier seating box with members paying a portion of the tickets: Leasha to follow up.
- Looking into Splitsville Bowling for steward appreciation event in February 2025.
- Gary wants to buy more swag/visibility items for members; Executive to provide suggestions.
