MEMORANDUM OF SETTLEMENT

between the CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY

and the PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF CANADA

in respect of the

SCIENTIFIC AND ANALYTICAL (S&A) GROUP

1. The Parties herein agree to the terms of this Memorandum as constituting full settlement of all matters in dispute.

2. The undersigned representatives of the Parties do hereby agree to recommend complete acceptance of all the terms of this Memorandum to their respective principals.

3. Unless otherwise specified, the provisions of the Collective Agreement shall take effect on the date the Collective Agreement is signed by both Parties.

4. The Parties herein agree that the said Collective Agreement shall include the terms of the previous Collective Agreement which expired on September 30, 2018, and the following amendments are incorporated:

• All those Matters Agreed To and signed by the Parties on the date of this Memorandum of Settlement, which are attached hereto.

1. Duration (E4.01) – A four (4) year agreement, expiry date of September 30, 2022.
2. The Parties herein agree that the provisions of this Collective Agreement shall be implemented by the Parties within a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days from the date of signing as per the Memorandum of Understanding with respect to the implementation of the Collective Agreement.

7. The Employer and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada agree to withdraw all other outstanding proposals and counter-proposals.

8. Unless otherwise specified, existing provisions are renewed.
