PIPSC Pay Proposals

General Economic Increases

All of the following proposals are made in addition to a negotiated General Economic Increase.  Therefore, the Institute wishes to propose incorporating any agreement made at the central table between the Employer and the Institute at a later date.

Market and specific adjustments

AU

The Institute proposes that AU pay grid shall be modified to be comparable to the AU pay grid from CRA, effective June 22, 2018.  This proposition implies the following:

  • The elimination of AU01’s first increment;
  • 3.75% increase for AU01’s last increment;
  • 5% increase for AU02’s last increment;
  • 2% increase for every other increments;

CO

The Institute proposes that CO-01, CO-03 and CO-04 shall receive a five and a quarter percent (5.25%) market adjustment to be added to their classification levels, effective June 22, 2018.

The Institute proposes that CO-02 shall receive a three percent (3%) market adjustment to be added to their classification levels, effective June 22, 2018.

PG

The Institute proposes that all PG sub-group classifications shall receive a three percent (3%) market adjustment to be added to their classification levels, effective June 22, 2018.

The Institute proposes to drop the lowest three increments from the bottom of PG-01 pay scales.  All PG-01 members shall immediately move up their pay scales by three increments, effective June 22, 2018.
