2018 CS Election report

2018 CS Election Report

1. The CS Group held its elections from May 15th to June 6th, 2018.  For this occasion, an election committee was struck as follows:

President: Guy Abel

Member:  Dean Corda

Member:  Stan Buday

2.              The following positions were due to be filled by election:

     1   Vice President – 3 year term

     6    Member-at-Large - 3 year term

3.   Two applications were registered for the position of Vice President.

Pierre Touchette was elected for a term of 3 years.

         1. Pierre Touchette         965 votes

          The following candidate has not been elected:

         2.               Eva Henshaw 867 votes

4.              Nineteen (19) applications were registered for six (6) Member-at-Large positions.

One candidate was required to represent the Pacific region.  Karim Chaggani was selected per CS regulations 4.1.1.3.2.

The following persons were elected for a term of three (3) years:

1.               Karim Chaggani          569 votes

2.               Robert Tellier              860 votes

3.               Lucille Shears             796 votes

4.               Stacy McLaren           690 votes

5.               Tony Goddard             670 votes

6.               Yvonne Snaddon        640 votes

The following candidates have not been elected:

7.    Patricia Williams        585 votes

8.    Nancy Lavoie            580 votes

9.    Kimberley Tombs      504 votes

10. Steve Dillon               447 votes

11. Denis Caissy             428 votes

12. Todd McCoy             408 votes

13. Miguel Daraîche-Leblanc      399 votes

14. Justin Calow              301 votes

15. Stephen Jacob          291 votes

16. Carl Cahoon              277 votes

17. Paul Faure                 272 votes

18. Derek Roussy           245 votes

19. Kerry Leiba                156 votes

 

5.  The CS Elections Committee received a complaint and sustained the complaint. The Committee agreed that the removal of the right to vote was an appropriate discipline.

6.  The CS Group Election Committee on behalf of the CS Group Executive would like to thank all the candidates. We would also like to congratulate elected members of the 2018 CS Group election.
