At the request of the BCFNHA Group and per 17.3.2.1 of PIPSC By-Laws, the PIPSC National Elections Committee is conducting the 2026 BCFNHA Group Elections

We’d like to invite you to nominate yourself for election to the Group executive. Refer to BCFNHA Group By-Laws for description of the election procedures and executive duties.

Why join the Group Executive?

  • Help shape our work to become a cohesive and engaged group with a strong and united presence in the workplace
  • Get involved and represent our group in the broader PIPSC union
  • Plan projects and events to keep members connected and informed
  • Be close to the decision-making and lend your vision to the work that improves all of our workplaces and work experiences

What does it involve?

  • Attending around 6 one-day meetings a year, and our Annual General Meeting
  • Participating in focused committees and working groups
  • Leading projects and event planning

We’re accepting nominations for the following positions, each for a 2-year term:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Member-At-Large (3 positions)

Here is a summary of the nomination process:

  • Interested members must submit a nomination form
  • Nominations must be supported by at least 2 group members
  • The Elections Committee will review the nominations to make sure the nominees are eligible
  • If necessary, the Elections Committee will hold a vote
