Hi everyone:

We are pleased to invite you to the AGM of the Toronto ECCC Branch. The meeting will consist of two parts, a hybrid meeting in the Auditorium (or virtually) and a lunch at 168 Sushi at the northwest corner of Dufferin and Steeles.  It is required that you RSVP so we can give the restaurant the expected number of attendees.

The guest speaker is Sean O’Reilly, President of PIPSC. Sean will talk about Work Force Adjustment and other issues of interest to members.

The following positions on the Toronto Environment Branch Executive are up for election:

  • Secretary
  • Member-at-large: 3 positions

Executive positions are open to PIPSC members (regular or retired) at ECCC-Downsview and IAAC-Toronto. To run for a position please email Jeremy Wentzell (Jeremy.Wentzell@ec.gc.ca).  Alternatively, you can submit your name from the floor of the AGM. There's no need for a seconder.

The AGM addresses the business of the Branch along with it being a social event to encourage discussion of union issues between members, the Branch Executive, and Stewards in a relaxed atmosphere. Please reserve the date in your calendar and inform your supervisor that you will be attending.
