· Approved by all.
2. Approval of March 26th, 2025, executive meeting minutes
· Approved by all.
3. SP Group AGM post-mortem
· Held on April 4-5th, 2025. Overall, the AGM went well.
· Issue was brought up regarding the method of voting during the AGM (show of hands vs electronic voting). The SP group executive had decided not to do it electronically as it was cost prohibitive. The executive for next year plan to explore what other voting options are available to all and that are also cost effective and anonymous.
· Another point brought up: having non-alcoholic beverages along with alcoholic beverages.
Action:
Marcel:
1. Discuss with SP executive regarding having non-alcoholic options along with alcoholic options at next SP AGM; and
2. Having slides from the “Greening Trade” presentation at the SP AGM being available for members.
3. Look into possibility of having the “Greening Trade” presentation be given to all SP members or at the very least the 50 Victoria St. subgroup members.
4. SP Group Elections
· Incumbents were re-elected. Election results are available on PIPSC website.
5. Steward Lunch and Learn
· Action: Marcel to send translated slides to 50 Victoria St. sub group executive members for review and after the review two dates will be picked (one for English and one for French).
6. Survey
· Due to time constraints, this topic was delayed to next meeting.
7. Federal Government and Science Lunch and Learn
· @400 members watched in real-time and recordings (in English and French).
· Overall, the L&L presentations were well received.
8. Central Region Subgroup President's meeting
· Post-phoned to fall time-frame, to be held in Kingston, Ontario.
9. IT Stuff
· Due to time constraints, this topic was delayed to next meeting.
10. Round Table
· None.
