CANMET RE Hamilton Sub Group Executive Meeting Minutes - Thursday, July 31, 2025

Venue:           113 James Street North, Hamilton

Attendees:     Jidong Kang, Babak Shalchi Amirkhiz, and Christopher DiGiovanni

• The meeting was called by the President J. Kang to plan the upcoming Lunch & Learn event and Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2025

• Discussion on the activities of the sub-group.

• • The Treasurer (Babak Shalchi) shared his report on the RE Sub-group AGM meeting he attended in Ottawa (on behalf of the Branch President), and shared information on the status of the Branch Sub-Group Budget.

• • The sub-group will have an in-person Lunch & Learn event for the members on September 24th. Jidong will send out meeting invitations to all members.

• • The AGM will be hosted in late November or early December. This will be after OERD mid cycle project reviews and approximately 12 months since the previous AGM.

• The meeting was adjourned at 19:00.
